Social Media Marketing

The sites and applications that I visit the most often are Instagram and Twitter. Instagram is where I make my money for my photography business and mostly connect with my followers. Twitter is where I find out what happens in fashion, sports, and finances. It’s my news channel.


I have positive reactions when using either of my social media platforms. I follow sports and fashion primarily, so my follower shares mostly positive things on their timelines.

It’s hard to say if my needs are satisfied by using one digital media over another because I use them for different things. I may spend more time on Instagram over Twitter because that’s where most of my audience is active.

I wish I did receive emails from companies. Still, if I did, I would hope to receive collaboration emails because I am a photographer. Collaborating with influencers and brands is who I desire to work with.


I’ve noticed that digital media in marketing today is that marketers understand their target audience. They know what platforms their market uses and place advertisements directly to their social media timelines or stories. The company’s marketing offices develop integrated marketing communications plans to communicate directly to their target audience.
